This product set contains 306 coloured centimetre scale Number Rods with suitable storage, to be used in line with Numicon teaching in Key Stage 1. Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts.

Reasons to Love:

•They can sequenced and ordered, or even used to develop fluency in addition and subtraction – they are a great way of showing difference and equivalence as well as forming the perfect introduction to part-whole models.

•Values of each rod can be adapted if used with older children and changed to tenths, hundredths or thousandths for example to encourage improved understanding of decimals.

•A fabulous means of teaching multiplication and division, especially grouping and sharing, or why not adapt for use higher up the school in the teaching of BODMAS.
