Description
Bring Science, Design & Technology and Maths to life for Year 2 students with this hands-on, ready-to-teach, project exploring topographical mapping and perspective. Fully aligned to the National Curriculum, this all-encompassing, easy-to-implement project engages students in a series of interactive and practical activities to solve a real-world problem-solving challenge.
In Pam & Ava’s Mapping Adventure, Pam the racoon wants to ride her bike to visit Ava the owl, but Ava’s tree sits on a very high hill!
Students learn about contour lines, symbols and keys, compass directions, and shape as they engineer a manageable bike path to unite the friends.
